Can I pay by methods other than Credit Card?

In addition to Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, we accept Paypal.


Are the hosting plans on a fixed term or is it just month by month?

All hosting plan subscriptions are on a minimum 1 month term. You can choose to subscribe for a one year term.


What sort of uptime can I expect?

We offer a guarantee of 99.99% uptime for all hosting accounts with Vazio. Information regarding our Service Level Agreement can be found on our website


Why don't you offer unlimited bandwidth?

There is no such thing as unlimited bandwidth. Any company that promises you unlimited bandwidth is counting on the fact that you will not use it, and if you do they will quickly find ways of either forcing you to pay for it, or restricting your site.


What servers do you run?

We only use enterprise level Dell servers.

The typical server specs are: Dual Intel Multiple Core processors, ECC RAM, SCSI drives with RAID-1 protection, Hot Swap drives and Dual NIC cards for extra redundancy.


Will I be able to check my emails when I am away from my home/office computer?

Yes, we provide all our customers with their own web mail access. What this means is that you can log on to the internet (to the address we will give you once you sign up) and check your mail from any computer that has internet access.


Can I have Warez, Appz, Serialz and or commercial software on my homepage?

No! If we find them in your directory or links to them, your entire account will be subject to termination.


Can I host an XXX/adult sites?

Yes! Vazio believes in allowing you to host whatever you want to within your rights. Vazio currently hosts some of the biggest names in the Adult industry. As long as your content doesn't violate our terms of service, it is more than welcome to be on our network. Things not allowed can include: child pornography, copyrighted material, non 2257 compiant material, extreme material. Others might also be precluded. Please see our Terms of Service for more information.


After I set up my hosting account how do I get started?

Your account will be activated as soon as your payment is processed. For information on getting started, please see our Knowledge Base.


Do you support Macintosh systems?

Yes! You can use any FTP program to transfer files from your MAC to our system. You can also use SSH and email programs like Mail.app, Thunderbird and Entourage. Our hosting infrastructure has full support for Apple Macs.


I'm currently with another host, am I able to transfer my hosting to Vazio?

Yes, you can transfer from your current host to Vazio. Once your account is set up, you will be provided instructions to point your domain to vns1.vazio.com and vns2.vazio.com


How do you measure and account for bandwidth?

All incoming and outgoing data from your account is recorded and totaled for your monthly usage. This includes http, smtp, ftp, webmail etc.


Will I have unlimited access to update my website?

Yes, you have unlimited 24/7 access to update your website.


I'm looking for dedicated hosting and would prefer to have my own technical team manage our servers, is that possible?

Yes, as a dedicated hosting client you will have remote access to manage your own servers. In addition, you can have the option for our technical team to help provide administration.
